Mission Statement

To provide transitional housing and support services to working families with children who are experiencing homelessness.

Description

The Carying Place (TCP) provides a 4-month transitional housing program for working families with children who are experiencing homelessness. The program aims to promote "self-sufficiency" by helping families overcome homelessness through budgeting, goal setting, case management and encouragement to take control of their lives and their situation. Our children's program strives to decrease the negative effects of homelessness and trauma on children through empowerment, psycho-education, enrichment activites and case management.

This organization is excellent for someone in the business world as well as social work/human services profession. If you are familiar with both, this opportunity would be perfect for you!
