Mission Statement

Option House, Inc. is a domestic violence shelter and a social justice organization who is committed to empowering victims of domestic violence through temporary housing, legal assistance, and case management. Our services will initiate the steps survivors and their children need in order to lead an independent and productive lifestyle free of violence and abuse.

Description

Since 1977, Option House has provided a 24 hr crisis intervention shelter, community awareness outreach services, education, legal advocacy, resources, as well as, promote health services for overall well-being to victims of domestic violence. Our adult program classes that are given consist of many topics such as: coping skills, anger management, budgeting, life skills, computer skills, job searching, art relaxation/meditation, and group therapy.
