Mission Statement

Pit Crew Pit Bull Rescue is a non profit 501c(3) dog rescue. PCPBR was started as part of our ongoing effort to help our community's pit bull-type dogs in need. We have rescued and placed dozens of pit bull-type dogs in loving homes since our launch in May of 2011. We provide help in many ways, and how we help is determined by the nature of each situation.

Description

Pit Crew Pit Bull Rescue (PCPBR) is a foster-based, 501(c)3 status nonprofit charity based in Raleigh, NC receiving no government funds. We rely solely on the support of companies, civic groups & individuals in our community to continue our important work. We work to help save dogs from across NC.
We at PCPBR are focused on saving "Pit Bull type dogs," dispelling the myths & negative image surrounding the breed, promoting animal welfare, increasing awareness of important issues such as dog fighting and other forms of animal cruelty & neglect that take place in our communities, as well as educating the community about responsible dog ownership & related issues such as working to correct the pet overpopulation problem through spay & neuter.
