Mission Statement

The goal of the Portfolio Resident Services' "Good Neighbor Program" is to impact communities and the residents within these communities through diverse programs that provide learning enrichment, life skills and cultural diversity. These programs result in higher resident retention, increased property value and self-sufficient residents capable of furthering their education, enhancing their economic standing and maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle.

Portfolio Resident Services Inc, is a nonprofit organization which operates the Good Neighborhood Program to over 250 affordable tax credit apartment communities throughout the nation. Our organization provides each of our over 30,000 residents with free social, educational, and recreational services. These services are designed to enhance self sufficiency of the children, teens, adults, and senior's living on our properties and to overall improve their quality of life.

The Good Neighbor Program provides various activities to the residents of the communities which includes tutorials, on-site food pantry, clothing closet, computer literacy, job search and readiness, health and fitness, crime watch, substance use prevention, fun and freedom activities, financial freedom, guest speakers, resource and referrals, and many other life skills classes.
