Mission Statement

ECO-Action is a non-profit, volunteer membership organization dedicated to raising awareness about earth friendly lifestyles, how to make conscious, responsible consumer choices, and how to get actively involved in environmental issues.

Description

We organize local hands-on opportunities for members of the community to make a tangible difference in the environmental integrity of our own back yard, as well as producing educational events to enhance our grasp and connect the dots of environmental issues and how they effect us in our day-to-day lives.

Every week ECO-Action volunteers visit many diverse waterways to clear trash from beautiful locations across Central Florida. It's a great place to be with diverse people who care for the wildlife and outdoor adventures. You never know what you might find as a treasure in an exotic landscape. Some places are so remote, no one else is allowed to go but where ECO-Action volunteers can explore while helping to prevent wildlife harm and death from litter.

Fantastic, dedicated people making a difference every week cleaning our waterways and lakes. This is a fun and relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon in a canoe while seeing and saving some beautiful Florida wildlife. Worth checking out!
