Mission Statement
The St. Francis Medical Center Foundation was founded in 1983 as a non-profit corporation to meet the philanthropic needs of St. Francis Medical Center. The purpose of the Foundation is to encourage, receive, administer and disperse donated funds. The charitable donations and bequests help to underwrite the cost for new equipment, the modernization and expansion of SFMC's facilities and the highest quality health care services and community outreach programs. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees , whose members serve without compensation.
Description
The St. Francis Medical Center Foundation works to follow through with a Promise to donors, patients, staff and the community. This Promise is to provide resources that will ensure that St. Francis Medical Center is able to bring dignity to life in Los Angeles . The Foundation raises funds through grants, special events and individual donors who are committed to making a difference in the Los Angeles community through St. Francis.
