The Red Devils

Description

The Red Devils solicits contributions, forms partnerships and funds essential services for breast cancer patients living or receiving treatment in Maryland. Services include meals and groceries for the patient and his or her family delivered to the patient's home; house cleaning; transportation to and from treatment; complementary services such as massage therapy and accupuncture; referrals to licensed childcare providers; and assistance with the cost of prescription drugs. The Red Devils also solicits and distributes gift certificates for restaurants, spas and family outlngs. Members of the Baltimore Heritage Quilters Guild make and donate quilts for The Red Devils to distibute to patients.

The Red Devils has partnerships with 16 Maryland hospitals and breast centers. Nurses and social workers at those hosptials and centers refer patients who will benefit from services funded by The Red Devils to the service providers with which The Red Devils has established relationships. Services funded by The Red Devils are provided at no cost to patients or their families.
