Jobs, Housing & Recovery, Inc. (JHR) serves homeless citizens of Baltimore by providing life-sustaining services and by offering access to jobs, housing & recovery from addition.
Description
JHR is made up of 3 programs: Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Housing & Resource Center, Carrington House, and Light House.
The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Housing & Resource Center run by JHR is Baltimore City's largest 24-hour adult shelter. It provides a continuum of care for the men and women served.
The Carrington House is the heart of JHR. It serves as a 2 year residential program for adult men struggling with addiction. The program provides food, shelter, GED and college prep, job readiness and hope.
Our Light House is a transitional housing program for veterans. The men are provided housing and minor case management for up to 5 years.
