Mission Statement
The mission of ReadAbility Foundation is to provide the blind or other persons with disabilities with the same degree of access to published information in all its forms that is freely available to sighted or other non disabled persons. To accomplish this goal we will be converting these materials to accessible digital formats and then providing them for downloading from our website on the internet to blind or disabled persons.
Description
ReadAbility Foundation will develop and distribute for the blind or other persons with disabilities, copies of books or other published information in accessible formats, adaptive products which enable or enhance information access, accessible educational courses, research to determine methodologies for making accessible and scientifically validating standardized tests used in education, licensing, and employment, training and research to enhance accessibility skills and techniques, training and research to eliminate obstacles to complete accessibility, educational, vocational, and employment counseling related to blindness or disabilities, and advocacy on behalf of the blind or other persons with disabilities.
