We are an all-volunteer historical society. We own and operate the Historic Zimmerman House Museum in Gresham, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. We also operate the Heslin House Museum in Fairview.
We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities - please contact us to learn more!
With two historical house museums to work in there are numerous ways to volunteer. Either inside or outside in the gardens/grounds. This Historical Society is run by all volunteers. There are no paid folks. Come and join the fun. Be a docent on tour days, catalog artifacts, help make exhibits, write for grants, file, etc. Everyone here are super friendly and helpful.
