Description

Homelessness is a reality that over a thousand St. Louisans face every day. Homelessness can happen many ways...but the devastation that occurs is hard to imagine. Imagine sleeping outside when the temperatures are below 20 degrees. Imagine trying to get a job when you have nowhere to take a shower. Imagine not even knowing where your next meal will come from.

HomeFirst STL is ready to change that. We are a non-profit with a big mission and with the help of volunteers like you, we are going to end the cycle of homelessness one property at a time.

Our focus is to provide affordable housing to people who have found themselves without a home of their own. Following the housing first model, it is our goal to provide homes for those who are ineligible for other forms of aid and are having a difficult time getting the help they need because of their circumstances. We will support our tenants in their continued rehabilitation through community support and employment opportunities, such as Bridge Bread. HomeFirst STL will make a significant impact on the St. Louis community.
