Mission Statement

Upward Bound povides student support sevices to prepare fifty-seven high school students to enter and graduate from college. Through academic and career counseling, regular tutoring sessions, field trips, financil aid and admissions assistance, this program full engages first-generation and/or low income students in pursuing colle degrees. Upwad Bound is a federally funded program.

Description

The TCC Upwad Bound office is located at the Northeast Campus. Targeted high schools are East Central, Nathan Hale, Memorial and Websters. Students from these schools who have completed the eighth grade up to high school sophomores are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to students with an academic need who have low scores on Oklahoma assesment tests and the ACT test( if applicable).
