Mission Statement
To provide a performing arts center that will offer quality entertainment, enhance educational and cultural opportunities and provide venues for the visual and performing arts, as well as create a site for tourism and economic growth in the Cultural Arts District of Downtown Fresno.
To provide a wide range of performing arts, events and entertainment opportunities that meets the interests and needs of a diverse Fresno population.
To ensure Warnors Center for the Performing Arts is authentically restored and maintained through general community support, grants and private funding.Description
Building partnership and collaborating with the diversity of the Fresno community;
Providing experiences that engage audiences of all walks of life;
Improve maintenance and restoration of the facility;
Upgrading the care and management of the Warnors Center complex;
Developing a greater regional awareness of Warnors Center and its three primary venues of the Theatre, Franks Place and Star Palace;
Provide professional "incubator" space for new and up and coming performing artist in the region as they develop their craft and performances with a real world, live audience experience.
Provide a space through Warnors "All Things Fresno", for local craftsmen and artists to display and sell their goods as well as interact with the public during events like Art Hop
Provide quality spaces for use of the community for a myriad of public and private events
Build relationships with other historic theatres through active involvement with League of Historic American Theatres and Theatre Historical Society of America.
