It’s back and ready to take over this May! Expect to have a blast at this popular 38th annual street happening on Sheffield Avenue in the heart of the Lakeview neighborhood (and just steps from the Belmont El station). Don’t miss top local tribute bands on the main stage (near Roscoe), great eats, libations (beer and wine) and artisans. Also expect an eclectic "community" entertainment stage near Belmont filled with fun neighborhood music acts, deejays and other performers. The Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce is a broad community based organization designed to represent and help merchants and other business people in the community. It is a policy of the organization to promote goodwill and a pleasant business environment for merchants, consumers, and area residents.

Northalsted Market Days(r) is the largest street festival in the Midwest and Chicago’s hottest summer celebration, August 12-13, 2023. The weekend long festival features an all day lineup of live music on 4 stages, 200+ unique vendors, arts, crafts, food and drink, DJ’s and dancing, sponsor booths, and more! Estimated attendance approaches 200,000 people from near and far, representing all colors of the rainbow! Founded in 1980, the celebration now spans 1/2 mile of North Halsted in Chicago’s Boystown neighborhood - America’s first recognized gay village - from Addison to Belmont.

Art enthusiasts are guaranteed to find plenty of inspiration when the early summer showcase that is the Wells Street Art Festival. Held on the eponymous strip of Wells Street between North Avenue and Division in Chicago’s historic Old Town neighborhood, it’s a treasure trove of creativity and much more. I have an opportunity for volunteers to work Saturday & Sunday June 10th & 11th, 2023 at the WellsStreetartFair. Manning the Gates on Division from 9:30 a.m.- 9:30 p.m. The shifts I have are 10 a.m.-2 p.m., 2 p.m.-6 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. We need 50 volunteers per day to be divide into the 3 shifts. Fest proceeds will again benefit the programs and services of the Old Town Merchants & Residents Association. Please confirm if you would like to take this opportunity.
