Mission Statement

It is the mission of the AAYS to help children/players learn and progress in the game of soccer and helping them to reach a higher standard of play while making the game enjoyable for them. Our main focus will be player development and giving "each" player good structured training and the opportunity to compete in a safe environment.

AAYS will encourage and teach good sportsmanship, responsibility, honesty, trust and good work habits. Although AAYS will be based out of West Mesa, AAYS will help the youth in all of the Phoenix Metropolitan cities (and throughout the state of Arizona) through the sport of soccer and competition.

Description

AAYS’ commitment to the community is to uphold the highest standards in development and training of our youth, while cutting costs for our families. AAYS’ fees are considerably lower than most competitive programs throughout the valley and state, while offering more in-depth individual training than most of the more prestigious Arizona soccer clubs. AAYS must rely on local support so that every child that has a desire to learn can have the opportunity to play. Arizona Academy of Youth Soccer will offer all children who register, an opportunity to participate in our program, and most importantly, the ability to play this wonderful game in a healthy and encouraging environment.

One of our big ways to save money is by building and maintaining our own fields. We have already built and expanded one field in a deserving Mesa neighborhood and we are working to convert another location in need.
