Description

My vision for For the Luv of Paws is patterned after Best Friends Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. The location is ten acres in a valley surrounded by mountains, with clean air, beautiful views, home to wildlife, a very tranquil setting, peaceful and quiet, even though it is right on a very scenic, well known highway. My goal is to provide rescue facilities for at least 20 dogs, 50 cats and small numbers of ferrets, bunnies, turtles, etc. There are 34 animals here now that I have been caring for for quite a while. There are facilities here that can be adapted to accommodate large numbers of cats and provide outdoor enclosures for them also. Facilities for the dogs will need to be built, kennels, play yard, etc. There are also facilities available for a gift shop, etc. to provide some fund raising. The sanctuary side of this organization is to provide long term care for animals/surrendered pets considered unadoptable because of illness, disease, disabilities.
