CALL OF THE SEA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring people of all ages and backgrounds to connect with the sea through educational programs aboard traditional sailing vessels that focus on marine sciences, nautical heritage, the ocean environment and careers in the maritime professions.

Description

We aim to provide for youth of all backgrounds and from various communities around the Bay the opportunity to experience firsthand the unique ecology, rich history and beauty of maritime San Francisco Bay, to gain a hands-on understanding of marine science topics, and to forge individual confidence and develop teamwork through working together to sail a large schooner.
