Partners for Women and Justice

Partners for Women and Justice ("Partners") is a non-profit organization that provides free legal help to low income, abused victims and survivors in domestic violence and family law matters. Our staff and pro bono attorneys provide legal representation to women in final restraining order hearings and family law proceedings. Our legal clinis provide women one-on-one sessions with volunteer attorneys. Our help line provides women with legal advice, counsel and information over the phone in matters of domestic violence and related issues of child support, visitation and custody. Our pro bono attorneys prepare wills, powers of attorney and living wills for our clients.

To escape abusive situations effectively victims must have, not only a restraining order, but also financial security and safe custody and visitation arrangements for their children. Partners' programs give these women the representation and counsel to obtain the security they and their children so desperately need.
