Mission Statement
Dedicated to creating opportunities for personal growth for survivors of brain injury. With innovative services, we empower each member to pursue enhanced social and vocational outcomes.
Description
The Mill House is an innovative vocational rehabilitation program for individuals with brain injuries who live in the Richmond area. The program helps survivors of brain injury to achieve greater levels of independence and productivity. By design, the program's primary goal is to help members acheive independence in the community through participation in the workforce.
At The Mill House, there are no patients or clients. The individuals who participate are "members." All members work side-by-side with staff to run the program, they improve work skills/behaviors, develop confidence, establish supportive relationships, and begin to realize that they can return to work with the right supports.
