Mission Statement
Mission Statement:
Capitol City Baptist School, established in 1973, is a kindergarten through 12th grade Christian school, serving as an extension of the Christian home through education and ministry.
We endeavor to provide an outstanding academic experience, embodied by Christian curriculum, intentional character building and exemplary role modeling.
We resolve to train and inspire students to know and love the Lord, learn His Word, grow in faith and serve others.
The object of a Capitol City Baptist School education is to assist parents in developing an excellent biblical foundation for their student's success in life.
Description
Capitol City Baptist School has educated thousands of students during the past 39 years and graduated hundreds who have pursued careers in medical, engineering, education, technology, management, business and other professional and human service fields, as well as Christian missions, pastoral work and military service. Numerous alumni have also chosen to be at-home parents, also a significant career. Current enrollment is 50 students.
Distinctives of our school include kindergartners reading by second semester, high academic standards, service requirements for 9-12th grade students, and springtime Drama Week (with the exception of casting and line memorization, a Christian play is completely produced in five school days by 7-12th grade students, who receive 1/4 Fine Arts credit - always an excellent production).
