Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation Center provides compassionate care to sick, injured, and orphaned wild birds and small mammals for the purposes of release and education.
A volunteer-run nonprofit located in El Paso County, east of Colorado Springs. No paid stafff. Programs are wildlife rehabilitation, community education, volunteerism, and sponsorship of provisional wildlife rehabbers. Facility is licensed to provide care to ALL birds and small mammals. Facility is not open for wildlife viewing. Educational programs with live birds in the community.

The organization is on a great path showing responsibility and personal obligation to the Colorado environment to protect its wildlife. Children will enjoy themselves there and adults will always learn a thing or two.

I really liked helping out this organization. The lady that I worked with was very nice and patient. I helped her create informational powerpoints for their organization to use to teach children about wildlife. Afterwards she took time out to send me a card, reference letter and certificate. I really enjoyed working with them.
