Mission Statement

The Royal Writers Organization’s (RWO) mission is to enrich the lives of those with a passion for writing through courses that teach the creative and entrepreneurial aspects of artistic genres in an affordable fashion. No child is refused due to the inability to pay. RWO works to improve the career outlook of High School and College students by offering real world opportunities to help build the organization for community hours and college credit; exposing students to various occupations while building experience and work ethics. We strive to spread the message that the future is always bright when following ones dreams.

Description

RWO offers creative writing workshops largely to young people from urban and rural environments and those in between, to introduce the creative and entrepreneurial aspects of various creative writing fields such as: screenwriting, songwriting,comic book writing, children' books, poetry, young novels, blogging and comedy writing. Accomplished working artists mentor students through the process with the passion that only a dedicated artists can give. Workshops are offered at affordable rates with noone turned away due to the inability to pay.

RWO also offers internships to students in the organizational and administrative capacity. Interns earn community credit hours or college credits for their participation.
