Great River Medical Center is a 313-bed regional medical center offering acute,skilled and intermediate care to residents of southeast Iowa, west-central Illinois and northeast Missouri. Great River Medical Center offers comprehensive medical services, including audiology, cardiac care, cancer care, chemical dependency treatment, emergency care, family-centered maternal/pediatrics, health education and health promotion, home health and hospice care, intensive care, pathology, physical and occupational rehabilitation, psychiatry and psychology, diagnostic imaging and a wide range of surgical services.
Great River Medical Center is part of Great River Health Systems, a regional integrated health-care system that includes: retail pharmacies; retail medical equipment and supplies provider; outpatient renal dialysis center; and a network of primary-care services that includes Burlington Area Family Practice Center and several physicians clinics.
The hospital's Klein Center offers long-term nursing care in a park like setting. The Cancer Care Center which provides radiation therapy services for the treatment of various forms of cancer, offers the latest three dimensional treatment-planning computer technology available in only a few health-care centers in the state. The Center for Rehabilitation, one of the state's premier rehabilitation facilities, offers comprehensive outpatient services and fitness classes.
Great River Medical Center annually admits more than 7,500 patients and logs more than 180,000 outpatient procedures. More than 115 physicians and 1,500 employees share the hospital's commitment to excellence in patient care.
