Description

Volunteerism is an inherent component of America's society and hospice provides a unique opportunity for an individual to contribute to the comfort of the terminally ill and their families. The growth of hospice within the past few years and the nature of the hospice patient and the family dictate the need for a large group of active volunteers. The volunteer may provide care in the patient's home or in the nursing home setting.
