Mission Statement

Our mission is to use education and technology as sustainable tools to facilitate positive changes in impoverished communities. By striving to give young people the opportunity to free themselves from cyclical poverty, we work towards our ultimate goal of helping to secure the success of future generations.

Tek4Kids’ mission uses systematic methods to attack systematic poverty. By educating young Haitians with technology, we give them the tools used all around the world in an effort to help them break the cycle of poverty. Because we partner with existing schools in Haitian communities, we avoid brick-and-mortar expenses. This also strengthens Haitian social institutions, as administrators and teachers learn how to access and use Tek4Kids’ curriculum. Finally, our Tek4Kids "graduates" communicate what they are learning to peers outside of their school: to friends, family, and to their entire social network.
