Hopkinton Public Library Foundation, Inc. (HPLF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in September 2011 to raise private funds for the restoration, expansion and state-of-the-art renovation of the Hopkinton Public Library.
In addition to the $4.5 million grant awarded to the Town of Hopkinton by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, private funds raised by HPLF will defray the Town’s cost of restoring, renovating and expanding the library’s historic building.
Restoration, expansion and improvement will make Hopkinton Public Library the intellectual and social cornerstone of downtown Hopkinton, offering all residents enhanced access to information, knowledge, and entertainment through materials, programs and cutting-edge technology.
Hopkinton Public Library Foundation, Inc. (HPLF) is led by a Board of Directors comprised of ten Hopkinton volunteers: Scott Richardson, John Ferrari, Laura Barry, Ron Eldridge, Katie Davenport, Amy Montalto, Joe Markey, Lindsay McDermott, Amanda Losada, and Michelle Marzi. In addition, HPLF has recruited and utilzed the assistance of countless volunteers for its events and activities.
