Hearts For Love Worldwide

I volunteered through Hearts For Love Worldwide to Ngong, Kenya in 2011. I was guided through the entire process prior to departure and throughout my volunteer experience. During that month I was able to participate in the variety of volunteer programs that HFLW supports and able to witness 1st hand the wonderful work that HFLW does in this area of poverty. The people I have met from this experience were amazing and I have continued to remain in contact, strengthing my friendship. It has been a life changing experience. I would highly recommend volunteering thru this organization or at least supporting them with your contribution. When they say that 100% of your donation goes to the project of your choice, THEY MEAN IT

I met and worked with Lory Jacobs in a Care Giving assignment a few years ago. I knew from the moment I met Lory that she had a heart of gold and was one of the most openly loving and compassionate women I had met. When she told me about her mission to help the kids in Africa and about Hearts For Love Worldwide, I knew that her organization was one that I wanted to become involved in. Lory has funded most of her projects to this date out of her own pocket with some donations. Anyone that has that calling to volunteer to help the Kids in Africa will not go wrong if they volunteer through HFLW, Lory and her "family" in Africa work tirelessly to insure that your time spent there will be productive, safe and most of all rewarding. Lory Jacobs has given of herself and her resources tirelessly to help those people in Africa she considers her friends now. She has faced many challenges in her desire to help others in need, and has continued forward in her quest to continue helping. There have been children given opportunities for education and the lastest venture she is assisting with is in community education of teens who are on the brink of adulthood and the potential for HIV/Aids, pregnancy and other situations they may face in their country with those issues. Lory believes very strongly in what she is doing and continues to move forward with her goals. This organization, Hearts For Love Worldwide has already helped many children in so many ways.

As a volunteer of Hearts For Love Worldwide I have been to Kenya on three separate occasions and know the experience is truly rewarding. As the founder of HFLW I can assure other volunteers wanting to volunteer abroad that going to Kenya with us will be a remarkable journey. First we have your utmost safety in mind.
