Mission Statement

Mission Statement: The Alliance for Health Promotion is a health advocacy association that collaborates with organizations in the public and private sectors to implement best practice approaches to promote healthy lifestyles and reduce behavior-based diseases in Indiana.

Description

The Alliance functions primarily as a strategic partner that builds capacity of other organizations throughout the state. The focus is on the breadth of lifestyle and behavioral issues and our approach is dynamic, flexible and strategic as issues evolve. Initiatives focus on secondhand smoke, healthy eating and active living, other collaborative partnerships, and organizational development/sustainability. The Alliance is the Indiana Affiliate of America On the Move, www.indianaonthemove.org.
