To promote the mental, spiritual, and physical welfair of senior citizens in Southwest Georgia.

Description

The Council on Aging is designated by the State of Georgia as one of 12 Area Agencies on Aging in the state. This agency serves a 14-county area of Southwest Georgia.

The Council on Aging is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing all the programs and activities that relate to or impact those people 60 years of age or older in this area.
