Connecting artists to artists, artists to the community, and the community to art by creating venues in the eastside community for artists to have their work shown and appreciated by the public at large.

Description

VALA [Venues for Artists in the Local Area], is a 501c3, non-profit arts organization founded in 2010 by Jessica and John Lambert based in Redmond, Washington. VALA connects artists to artists through the VALA Artist to Artist Series, by facilitating events and programs like the VALA Artist Studio, and facilitating partnerships with local businesses and organizations to create non-traditional venues for artists. The VALA Art Center is an exciting new venue (developed in partnership with Redmond Town Center) featuring artist residencies, artwork installations, public events and educational programs for all ages.
