Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
Every time a purchase is made in any of the four University of Michigan Friends gift shops, the proceeds go toward supporting patient and family care programs, including amenities, support, and educational programs. These programs often do not receive funding from any other source, including the U-M Health System.
Since 1959, Friends has been a partner of the U-M Health System, helping to promote the health, welfare and education of our community.
Friends is a board-governed, volunteer-staffed, non-profit community organization that administers and manages four Health System Gift Shops. The revenue generated from these shops provide funds for patient programs and educational projects.
If you would enjoy supporting patient programs and health education...if you care about helping people when they need you most...you could be our kind of Friend.
Friends is currently seeking volunteers for their four gift shops.
"helping hands needed!"
The Friends Gift Shops of the University of Michigan Health System invite you to join our volunteer team. Our non-profit shops support programs that directly benefit patients and their families.
One 4-hour shift comes with free parking and flexible scheduling. No experience required - we happily train our volunteers.
