Description

Roots and Horizons is a mentoring program that creates and supports mentoring relationships for children of incarcerated parents. The mission of Roots and Horizons is to build safe and healthy mentoring relationships that foster stability and promote positive futures for children of incarcerated parents.

Roots and Horizons envisions a community in which there is a collective effort to provide every child of an incarcerated parent with a nurturing and supportive adult role model. These individuals will support the child's strengths and abilities while empowering them to discover their own personal talents, goals and aspirations.
