Mission Statement

The Rochester Ataxia Foundation is committed to raising the dollars necessary to engage
research communities in seeking a better understanding of causes, and ultimately, a cure for, inherited ataxia.


The Rochester Ataxia Foundation will advocate for improved diagnosis, care and treatment of individuals in the Rochester area and in the Northeast United States and will work to raise public awareness of inherited ataxia through outreach and education.

Secretary:Board of Directors Rochester Ataxia Foundation

Rochester Ataxia Foundation (RAF) is looking for an energetic person who is excited about making positive contributions in volunteering for a non-profit organization fighting to find a cause and a cure for a rare neurological disorder called ataxia.

We are looking for a person who can volunteer as a board member serving in the capacity of our secretary. This role will include but are not limited to: participation in board meetings, managing meeting minutes, maintaining records, filing important organizational documents, and adherence to the by-laws in making organizational decisions.
