Mission Statement

The Bay Area Gallery's goal is to raise community awareness about the needs of children and youth in foster care, and to recruit adoptive parents, and committed adults to build relationships and families.

Description

The Bay Area Heart Gallery is a partnership of public and private agencies serving children in foster care throughout the Bay Area, working together with community volunteers, photographers, and artists. Together we are developing a stunning exhibit of photographs of children, youth and families, accompanied by compelling stories. The Exhibit will travel across seven Bay Area counties throughout the year, following a Gala Opening in April, 2006. Participating counties include, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara.
