To give hope and empower melanoma patients and family on this journey, either by finding a melanoma clinical trial, providing transportation and lodging for trial participation, an expert melanoma treatment center or simply by taking the time to explain the facts regarding melanoma.

Providing free melanoma screenings at our melanoma awareness event, Safe in the Shade

Educating about melanoma where it matters: to new parents to role model sunsafe behavior and in schools Teaching skin self -examination since most people find their own melanomas

Raising melanoma awareness in national organizations that melanoma research needs funding NOW!

Description

The Melanoma International Foundation has the mission of SAVING LIVES NOW from melanoma. We provide hope and guidance to melanoma patients and families. We are on the cutting edge of creating and supporting the most effective melanoma programs for the prevention, early detection, and treatment of melanoma. Guided by our world renowned melanoma experts who comprise our Scientific Advisory Board, our funds are used judiciously for melanoma programs that make a difference now.
