Mission Statement

The CATHE center is a non-profit community center dedicated to providing health oriented and culturally rich programs for all. The CATHE Center’s mission is to support programs that strive to offer affordable (i.e., below market rates), culturally rich, educational opportunities to enhance the health of our community.

Description

The CATHE is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization that serves as a community center for the Burlington, WI rural community of 10,490 residents. The CATHE is not publicly supported (via City funds), but relies solely on grants, in-kind gifts and nominal maintenance fees collected by our programs.

Since 2005, the CATHE Center has helped individuals and groups within the community by providing facilities and a venue for offering enriching programs that match the CATHE’s core focus areas: Community, Art, Technology, Health and Education. Our programs are amazing contributions to the community, offering opportunities not offered elsewhere in Burlington or at prices that make these programs accessible to the average Burlington family.

The CATHE also connects community organizations with similar goals, encouraging partnership where beneficial. We are proud of our ongoing efforts to provide quality programs that make a difference in the lives of youth, seniors and families in our area.

Programs include a Montessori inspired pre-school, fitness classes like Yoga, Jazzercise and Zumba, wellness clinics offering acupuncture, reiki, thai massage, youth theater and music lessons of all varieties.
