The neighorhood is filled with opportunities for everyone, it is a place where people choose to live and invest. North Fairmount is a neighborhood of engaged residents, businesses, and stakeholders that are committed to driving the change envisinoed by the residents."

Description

An established 501(C)3 Non-profit organization dirercted by the City of Cincinnati Invest In Neighborhoods Inc. providing programs of support throughout the community of North Fairmount such as beautification, greenspace/environmental program, community gardening, and summer youth programs.

North Fairmount is a community that has had it's troubled times. Wear and tear had taken over as with any neighborhood in the Greater Cincinnati area. But now there's a movement to bring back what was taken from this neighborhood. People are seeing and living the beauty that this neighborhood has to offer. I want to be recognized as one that can say "I helped in bringing back North Fairmount by volunteering". The initiative that's under way is advocating for North Fairmount and Cancer Awareness, and it's a beautiful thing. As coordinator our plans are to dedicate North Fairmount Community to Breast Cancer Awareness by embellishing the community in the colors (flower, trees, banners, flags) referenced to breast cancer. This is the only undertaking of this type that I'm aware of as of today in Cincinnati. Please become a part of the initiative and volunteer or donate to this cause. Odessa Carr is a registered AVON Walk for Breast Cancer walker and supporter. Oct 26-27, 2013 N. Carolina.
