Mission Statement

Homes for America, a nonprofit corporation, creates and perserves affordable housing enhanced with services. For each Homes of America community, we assume reponsibility for developing a resident services plan and for the implmentation of the supportive services and activities.

Description

As a low income housing community we provide resident services to meet the needs of all residents. We help refer residents to community agencies to help with medical insurance, food, utilities, and other services. We help adult residents go back to school, find employment, computer training, and financial literacy. For children we provide after school homework help and tutoring, a 8 week summer camp for free, teen support groups, and field trips. for our senior citizens in the community we provide social gatherings, informational sessions, and field trips.
