This ministry exists to connect communities, forge new relationships, and sow seeds of healing in a broken world. To that end, we provide domestic, short-term mission experiences rooted in a vision of a just society

Description

We are a non profit organization that is involved in doing minor home repairs and maintenance on low income with low income home owners in Detroit. All of the work that we do is "volunteer friendly", and individual projects generally last from a couple of hours to a whole day.

I am a long-term service partner with Rippling Hope & have been since it's beginnings in 2011. RH works with people in Detroit who no longer have economic resources to maintain their homes. RH volunteers use their time & talents to help with that. We have done weatherization, painting, minor carpentry & plumbing. Our volunteers are the best & the people we serve are wonderful to work with & are usually sad to see us leave. I have made many friends in Detroit & look forward to seeing them every year. Come join us & see what volunteering is all about.
