The Call Foundation teaches goal setting, work ethic, and social skills to teens 14-17 through art workshops in the greater Houston area.
The Call Foundation is a non-profit community based organization who provides important programs for at risk youth. The organizational focus is to strengthen children, young adults, families and communities through programs, which involve Celebrity guests, volunteers and program participants from the entire community.
Since June 2006, The Call has done just that and it has been our goal to successfully develop a strong community, Board of Directors, and serve the entire Houston area.
Our workshops use media arts to engage young people while teaching them helpful life habbits. We currently produce a local teen news show, "PrimeTime Television" that airs on Houston TV, the mayor's municipal channel. The show talks about current global and local news from a teen perspective and features helpful resources for teens who may need assistance with tutoring, school clothes, school supplies, etc...
