We are dedicated to help, heal, free, comfort, console, provide, listen, and love those who feel life is hopeless and that they have no worth here on Earth.
We will come along side each person, provide shelter, food, and life necessities and prioritize what those individuals need to get back on the correct path and begin to enjoy their God-given purpose.
We have created programs for: inmates, homeless, women, men, and children that will encourage, educate, train, mentor, mediate, sustain, and help them to move forward from the past and continue into the future with hope and help.
Description
We are a faith based, God fearing, Holy Spirit led, Bible believing non-profit organization. We believe in Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior and all humans were created by God, for God and to live with God leading them through prayer and the Word. God has a purpose and a destiny for all of us. It is up to us to seek Him and learn His ways, His plans and His will for our lives. Through Christ a relationship with God is possible.
Avalon goes into the prisons, we do outreach on the streets and bring the Light of Jesus Christ into the darkness. Souls matter to God and matter to us. Isaiah 61 is our mission statement!
Avalon teaches the men and women in the jails to know Jesus personally and to have an ongoing relationship with God. We teach all classes with the Word. We teach truth about what God's plan is for His children. We teach about forgiveness, healing, change of mind, heart and soul, becoming whole and seeing your priceless value to God through His eyes and His Word!
Our ministry/agency is about restoring souls back to God first, then healing, restoring and transforming yourself, His way!
We work with the inmates in class settings and one-on-one counseling. We build relationships and we work with these folks to walk by faith into the plans God has for them and to trust God completely with all aspects of life.
We attend court with our clients, get them rehab for addictions, help with housing, basic life necessities and work closely with them outside of the jails also.
We currently have a building for rehab and transitional housing on hold in Baltimore City, Md. We are seeking sources of funding to complete this God blessed project. The building will house inmates being released, homeless and those souls suffering from hopelessness, addictions and past pains and hurts.
The ministry vision is worldwide and to be able to connect with the prisons and obtain buildings in different cities around the world. Many lost souls in this world and Avalon wants to reach out to as many as God allows us too!
