The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
To capture the attention of the public and the media, increasing awareness of childhood cancer ? the #1 disease killer of children.
To convey the vital need for funds for more specialized cancer research to save the lives of infants, children and teens fighting cancer.
To get as many people as possible from all walks of life to participate in St. Baldrick's either as a shavee, an organizer, barber, volunteer, a donor or a combination of these.
To raise as much money as possible for cures and advances that save lives and improve the quality of life for children with cancer.

More than $12 million has been raised from 2000 to 2005. We are well on our way to the day when cancer no longer claims the lives of our wee ones, but much remains to be done.
