Mission Statement

The mission of Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center is to develop and enhance appreciation, knowledge, and respect for the natural world.

Description

Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center is a private, non-profit organization located on the beautiful St. Croix River. We provide quality environmental education programs for school groups primarily at the K - 5th grade levels, as well as programs for scout groups and the general public. There are 425 acres with 15 miles of hiking trails thru a variety of habitats including, re-established prairie, oak savanna, deciduous forest, pine plantation, and river shoreline. The grounds and Interpretive Center are open to the public 7 days a week from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
