Mission Statement

The Northwest Infant Survival & SIDS Alliance is dedicated to reducing the risk of sudden unexpected infant death through education and supporting research while providing bereavement services.

Description

We fulfill our mission through the following activities:

  1. Grief support for bereaved families including family packets, one-on-one peer support, three support groups in Washington State, and referrals.
  2. Educational outreach and awareness campaigns including our Safe Sleep Kit, Cribs for Kids, and Cradleboard programs.
  3. Trainings for health care providers and child care providers, presence at health fairs, and presentations to new parent groups.
