Metrocare cares for people. It's that simple. Over 600 employees work to make the lives of 50,000 people better than the day before.

Description

Metrocare is a 501.c.3 non-profit organization that cares for individuals and families struggling with mental illness, developmental disability, or severe emotional problems in clinics across Dallas, programs in the community, and even in clients' homes. Many people coming to Metrocare are at their lowest point.

Metrocare is formerly known as the Dallas County Mental Health Mental Retardation (MHMR) Center and has served Dallas County for over 40 years.

I went out there because I thought that I was suppose to check in with them to do the volunteering. They took my information and told me they were putting it together, but I never heard back from them. That was three months ago.
