The MedicareRx Volunteer Initiative is sponsored by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Administration on Aging (AoA). AMOS is a local program and is a part of the Knoxville-Knox County CAC Office on Aging.

Description

Our organization is providing free, one-on-one assistance to people with Medicare and their families via telephone and face-to-face advising sessions, public education presentations and other programs. I moved to Tennessee a year ago July. The move has made it necessary to resolve several issues with my medical insurance. AMOS representatives have not only responded to my telephone inquiries but have taken the initiative to contact me when changes in coverages were likely to affect me. Very impressive.
