Balinese American Dance Theatre (BALAM) creates a new vision of contemporary dance by combining diverse movement techniques from around the world and historical periods with contemporary dance and Balinese theatre.

Description

Through its artistic fusion, BALAM presents an opulent and original dance theatre that appeals to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

BALAM educates the community through its performances, customized choreographies, lecture-demonstrations, masterclasses, workshops, lessons, research and articles about the diverse cultures that inspire its multi-cultural work.

BALAM has an active community outreach program, Out & About, touring underserved communities with high quality, eclectic programs at the grass roots level.
