CARIE's mission is to improve the well-being, rights, and autonomy of older persons through advocacy, education, and action.
Since its inception in 1977, CARIE has been providing outreach, consultation, and advocacy for older adults, their caregivers, and service providers throughout the Philadelphia region. What began as a telephone hotline for the frail elderly has emerged as one of the region's leading resources on elder care issues.
