Mission Statement

The vision of the Autism Trust is to create "a future with purpose" for young adults on the ASD spectrum. Under the title of Real World Living, the concept is based on providing employment and training opportunities that will allow ASD individuals to lead fulfilling lives and make a positive contribution to society.

Description

Polly Tommey established The Autism Trust in 2007 after her son Billy was diagnosed with autism. She's been campaigning in the UK to promote a brighter future for young adults with autism and has recently moved to Austin to help area teens find employment by setting up Polly's Place outlets in Peoples Pharmacy where she sells arts and crafts made by people on the spectrum and those that support them.
