The Medicare Today message is positive, nonpolitical and positioned as essential public outreach to seniors who need reliable information on how to get the greatest value from the new Medicare benefits. The message will target all beneficiaries, including seniors eligible for low-income assistance and the disabled.

Description

Medicare Today is a broad-based partnership of organizations representing seniors, patients, health care groups, employers, and others. The mission of this nonpartisan partnership is to educate and inform Medicare beneficiaries, the media, and the public at large on the new benefits provided through The Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement and Modernization Act of 2003 (MMA). Participating organizations are bringing together their respective grassroots and communications resources to achieve this important shared objective.
